The world's fourth largest family-owned automotive supplier, Brose Group, decided to take their business to the next level by teaming up with a micro-mobility connectivity pioneer Comodule for a high-end collaboration. Thus, Brose Connected Drive, the first coordinated, modular plug-and-play solution for e-bike sharing was created.

As COVID-19 spread rapidly during March 2020, people across the globe started to rethink the way they commute on a daily basis. Without GPS, sharing operations couldn’t exist. For the user, GPS enables them to see where the nearest vehicle is, find it and rent it. This use case is quite straightforward, but GPS has an even more important role to play than just finding the vehicle, especially for the fleet operators.

Comodule's high-precision positioning system connected to the Gazelle bicycle helped to catch a van with a bunch of stolen bicycles last week, including the reported Gazelle bike, which was recovered in a few hours after chasing it live by COMODULE, Trifork, bike hunters, and police.
