On April 15th, Comodule hosted its third webinar–a panel discussion focusing on shared mobility and owned mobility business models. From the end-user perspective, the world of connected vehicles is becoming more and more familiar. It’s not a question anymore whether or not to connect your bike, it’s more of a discussion, which kind of connected bike or scooter to use. Should I rent one? Should I buy one? What are the benefits and downsides of both business models? Will one dominate the other or can they co-exist?

Despite a hectic year, we still achieved our goals, in terms of product development. We managed to significantly increase our display module, Diamond, production, launched a brand new IoT module called Bonnie&Clyde, developed our own connected light electric vehicle called Co-Scooter, and developed new features for our White Label App, enabling some exciting co-operation projects with new clients.

The well-known high-performance electric motorbikes manufacturer, CAKE, launched new features on their bikes with its unique modular design that cover just about every need imaginable. In addition to the vehicles’ unique design, performance, and individuality, their new bikes feature heating box and freezer integration and are connected to the internet. The connectivity is enabled by Comodule’s customized app and IoT solution.

Comodule launched its very own Co-Scooter this spring, to rebut the myths of e-scooters’ short lifespan, battery durability, and missing opportunities of using recycled materials.
