Connected e-bikes now come with lower insurance costs: Comodule partners with Bikmo
Smart technology meets tailored insurance: Bikmo now offers a 10% discount on insurance premiums for e-bikes equipped with Comodule IoT.
Bike theft remains one of the biggest concerns for e-bike riders. That’s why Comodule, the leading provider of IoT solutions for e-bikes, and Bikmo, the specialist in cycling insurance, are teaming up to make e-bikes safer and to reward riders who use smart security features.
10% insurance discount for Comodule users in Germany and Austria
From now on, e-bike owners in Germany and Austria whose bikes are equipped with a Comodule GPS tracker will receive a 10% discount on their Bikmo insurance premium.
Riders will be informed about this offer directly in the Comodule Companion App and through bike manufacturers that integrate Comodule systems. Taking advantage of the discount is simple - signing up for the insurance takes only few minutes.
Technology reduces theft risk
“Most new e-bikes today are digitally connected. GPS tracking, motion sensors, acoustic alarms and smart locks play a significant role in theft prevention. We are excited that Bikmo recognizes this progress and rewards our users with an attractive offer,” says Tobias Bergmann, Head of Business Development at Comodule.
For Bikmo, the collaboration is a logical step. “The integration of GPS trackers is becoming the new standard for high-quality e-bikes. Working with Comodule helps us strengthen both protection and peace of mind for riders,” explains Mike Schmidt, Sales & Partnerships Manager at Bikmo.
A shared mission for safer cycling
With Comodule as a technology partner, Bikmo continues its mission to protect cyclists and support a strong cycling culture in today’s increasingly connected mobility world.
